SPENCER SEASE I discovered photography before I learned how to read. I recall being on set for photoshoots for my mom's clients overwhelmed by the experience, and seeing thousands of images as a young child sitting at her desk in her home office. I never thought about it becoming my career until many years later. In middle school I began taking photographs on my cellphone to document the things I found interesting, slowly my interest began to grow and slowly I discovered my love of motion. Overtime, I did all I could to acquire equipment and knowledge. In middle school and high school it seemed like all my friends associated me with was the camera. As I approach my second year in college, my passion and love for filmmaking and photography has multiplied. I currently study Cinema and Creative Advertising at VCU, and create music videos, short films, promotional material, virtual reality films, and anything my clients may need. As I continue working as a young filmmaker, I can see my hard work paying off. Attending the Samsung Creator Awards for my first VR film and seeing my work published on various platforms has inspired me tremendously to keep producing content. I feel that I have solidified my course in life and I couldn't be happier.
